Where the files are on a 14, 15, 17 and Stream
HP 14, 15 and 17 models from 2015 to 2017 use a removable 2.5-inch hard drive. From 2018 most have an M.2 SSD, and many 15-inch and 17-inch versions keep a 2.5-inch bay for a second drive. The HP Stream and some low-cost 14-inch models have eMMC storage soldered to the board.
