Where the files are on a EliteBook
EliteBooks have an M.2 NVMe SSD (the G3 and G4 850 also have a 2.5-inch bay). Company laptops are almost always BitLocker-encrypted, and the recovery key is held by your IT department.

- Drop off or courierBring it to our London SE1 lab, Monday to Saturday, or we arrange a courier from anywhere in the UK.
- Diagnosis and fixed priceWe find the fault and tell you what can be recovered and what it costs. Nothing happens until you agree.
- Recovery and returnWe copy the drive first, recover from the copy, and return your files on a new drive.

No data, no recovery fee. If we can’t recover the files you need, you don’t pay for the recovery, only the cleanroom diagnostic where one was carried out. A donor drive, if one is needed, is bought at cost plus 30%.
