Liquid and drop damage
Coffee, water or wine on the keyboard, or a laptop dropped while running: switch it off, unplug the charger, and get it to us quickly. Corrosion keeps spreading after the spill.
What to do straight away
- Hold the power button to switch it off, and unplug the charger.
- Don’t turn it on to check, and don’t use a hairdryer or rice.
- For a drop: don’t keep restarting it if the drive clicks or the laptop won’t start.
We remove the storage or, where it is soldered, clean and repair the motherboard, then recover the data. We can also repair the laptop itself.

No data, no recovery fee. If we can’t recover the files you need, you don’t pay for the recovery, only the cleanroom diagnostic where one was carried out. A donor drive, if one is needed, is bought at cost plus 30%.
